15. TROUBLESHOOTING

 


  • In order to prevent an electric shock, be sure to turn power off before performing work and touching interior parts of the game.

  • Be very careful so as not to damage wiring. Damaged wiring can cause an electric shock or short circuit accident.

    PROBLEMS CAUSE COUNTERMEASURE
    When the main switch is turned ON, the machine is not activated. The power is not ON. Firmly insert the plug into the outlet.
    Incorrect power source/voltage. Make sure the power supply/voltage is correct.
    The fuse is blown. Eliminate the overload and replace the fuse.
    Although sound is emitted, PTV screen is blackened and Fluorescent lamp does not light up. Poor connection of connector between Front Cabinet and PTV. Check for connection of 3p white connector. (See Section 6.)
    The color on the PTV screen is not correct. Poor connection of connector between Front Cabinet and PTV. Check if R. G. B. and SYNC Connectors are correctly connected. (See Section 6.)
    Screen adjustment is not appropriate. Make adjustment appropriately. (See Section 11.)
    PTV screen has a color deviation. Affected by the periphery, such as other machines, location building's steel frames, etc. Make convergence adjustments (see Sec. 11).
    Change installation direction/ position. Move the other machines which cause the problem.
    Foot Controller operation is unsatisfactory. Poor V. R. setting. Perform V. R. setting. (See Section 9.)
    V. R. deviation or malfunctioning. Adjust or replace the V. R. (See Section 10.)
    Poor mesh of ADJUST GEAR. Adjust ADJUST GEAR mesh. (See Section 10.)
    No Foot Controller reaction during game play.
    Malfunctioning.
    Even when the game starts, Foot Controller lock is not unlocked.
    Initial setting movement is incorrect. Turn power off and turn it back on again.
    Finish initial setting movement (see Section 6).
    Defective connection and/or malfunctioning of Servo Motor Drive Board and Drive Board. Check connections: Motor~Servo Motor
    Drive Board~Drive Board~Game Board
    (see Section 16)
    Overheat of motor. Wait for a while and turn power back on again.
    Foot Controller's centering is irregular. V. R. setting fault. Perform V. R. setting (see Sec. 9).
    V. R. deviation or malfunctioning Adjust or replace the V. R. (see Sec. 10).
    Irregular sound emitted from inside of Rear Cabinet. Greasing to gear mesh portion is not satisfactory, or extraneous matter mixed in. Apply greasing or eliminate extraneous matter (see Sec. 10).
    Fluorescent Lamp does not light up. Poor connection of connector in the Billboard. Accurately connect the Connector (see Sec. 6).
    Fluorescent lamp need replacement. Replace Fluorescent Lamp (see Sec. 13).
    Sound is not emitted. Poor connection of connector between Front Cabinet and Rear Base. Accurately connect the connector (see Sec. 6).
    Sound volume is incorrect. Adjust the Sound Volume Adjustment V. R. of the SW Unit (see Sec. 9).
