When the power is turned on,
the Foot Controller moves. To avoid injury, first check for safety
in the periphery of the machine and then turn power on.
During initialization setting,
do not touch the machine. Wait until the initialization settings
are finished automatically. Touching the machine during setting
can cause inaccurate settings and game play may not be satisfactory.With the AC Unit's Main Switch ON, tum on the machine's power supply. Simultaneously with turning power on, the machine starts initialization setting movements and displays the initialization setting movement mode on the screen. Do not touch the machine until the initialization setting movements are automatically finished.
Turning power on causes the Billboard's fluorescent lamp to light up, the Foot Controller to move right and left, and the machine to stop at the centering position (initialization setting movements).
The completion of initialization setting movements is followed by the Advertise Mode. During the initialization setting movements, should trouble such as the mechanism portion's irregularities and malfunctioning occur, the occurrence of trouble will be displayed (see Section 15). Depending on the cause of trouble, although the game may sometimes be playable, the machine will not operate satisfactorily. In this case, contact where the product was purchased from, or the nearest SEGA Office/Service Center.
In the case where several machines are connected for communication play, network check is performed after initialization settings are finished, and the screen displays that the check is being conducted. After checking, ADVERTISE Mode appears. Normally, the network checking takes approximately one minute. If there is any irregularity in the communication connection, the occurrence of trouble is displayed (see Section 15).
