Turn power off and turn it back on to redo initial setting movements. | ||
B 1 | Encoder error. | This occurs during operation. Even when power is turned off and then turned back on again after 10 minutes, if the same symptom occurs, the trouble results from the motor system's malfunctioning. Press the Test button during the Trouble Display mode to retum to the normal mode from the Trouble Display mode. At this time, the game is playable without the Motor's reaction. |
B 2 | Overcurrent | |
B 3 | Overheat Overload |

or no power supply for Drive BD. Check wiring connection, and if the portion of Drive BD connection is malfunctioning, replace Drive BD. |
In BO, B4~B7, BA, and FF, the Trouble Display mode is shown in case trouble occurs due to a certain cause during initial setting movements. The cause may be, for example, that something makes contact with the Foot Controller and initial setting movements are not performed satisfactorily, or someone stepped on the Foot Controller during initial setting, and so forth. As such, turn power off and then turn it back on again to finish initial setting movements. The Trouble Display may be shown due to Drive Board malfunctioning other than the causes shown in Table c. In this case, pressing the Test button while the Trouble Display is shown will have the normal mode return and allows for play without reaction. However, in the cases of B5, B6 and FF, game play even without reaction is not possible.
The above method of pressing the test button to return to the normal mode and allow for play without reaction is only a temporary measures. When asking for repair, please promptly contact the Distributor, etc. where the product was purchased from, or the nearest SEGA Service Center.
In the case multiple machines are connected for communication play, the above display is shown when trouble occurs as regards the connections for communication play (breakage of optical fiber cables, cable disconnection from connector, etc.). Check for optical fiber cable connections.
In the case where multiple machines are linked for communication play, network check is performed at the time the power is turned on or when exiting from the test mode. During network checking, the following are displayed on the screen.
Network check will be finished within approximately one minute and then the game can be played. If the screen below is continuously displayed, an error in the connection method may be considered. Turn power off and check to see if the optical fiber cable connection is correct (Section 18-2). In case of communication setting error, the following will be displayed on the screen.
If network check is not satisfactory due to a communication setting error, etc., the screen shown above will be displayed continuously. At this time, have each linked machine enter the Test mode to correct the communication setting. Since the communication status is not satisfactory, even if one machine enters the Test mode, other linked machines do not enter the Test mode in this case.
