8 - 4 GREASING (HANDLEBAR)

 

Be sure to use designated grease.using undesignated grease can cause parts damage. Don not apply greasingto parts other than those specified. Greasing to undesignated places cancause malfunctioning and the qualitative deterioration of parts.

 


Once every 3 months, apply greasing to the following places.

For greasing, use Grease Mate (P.No. 090-0066).

 

 


8 - 5 ADJUSTING AND REPLACING THE REAR BRAKE VOLUME

 

In order to prevent an electricshock and short circuit, be sure to turn power off before performing workby touching the interior parts of theproduct.

Be careful not to damage wirings. Damaged wiring can cause an electricshock or short circuit accident.Do not touch places other than those specified.touching places not specified can cause an electric shock and short circuitaccident.


 

In the test mode, if the Rear Brake's volume movements are irregular,adjsut or replace the Volume by using the following procedure.

 

 

(1.) Remove the hexagon nuts and the step.

(2.) The Foot Brake is installed in the status inserted into the BikeMecha's 2 shafts. Remove the Foot Brake fromt he Bike Mecha in the mannerto pull out from the 2 shafts.

The Foot Brake has wiring connections. Use care so as not to damage thewiring.

(3.) Disconnect the connector and remove the Foot Brake from the BikeMecha.

 

 

 

 

 

VOLUME ADJUSTMENT

(1.) Loosen the 2 screws which secure the VR Bracket to move the VR Bracket.

(2.) Move the VR Bracket to disengage gear mesh.

(3.) By adjusting gear mesh, fasten the 2 screws which secure the VR Bracket.

(4.) Move the Brake Lever fully to the movable range and check if the Volume Shaft's revolvable range is exceeded.

(5.) After the adjustment, be sure to perform the Volume setting in the test mode.

 

VOLUME REPLACEMENT

Replace the Volume if it is malfunctioning. Install the Volume in the manner so that 20H+/-5 is indicated when force is not exerted.

(1.) Remove the 2 screws which secure the VR Bracket.

(2.) Remove the Volume Gear from the Volume Shaft and remove the Volume fromthe VR Bracket to replace the Volume.

(3.) After replacement, be sure to perform the Volume setting in the test mo

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


8 - 6 GREASING (REAR BRAKE)

8 - 7 REPLACEMENT OF THE SAFETY RUBBER

 

The Safety Rubber is an important, hazard preventive part. Beforecommencing daily operation, be sure to check for damage and omission. Operatingwitht he Safety Rubber damaged and omitted can caues injury such as theplayer's fingers being caught (in the damaged or omitted portion).
