It could be considered a fangame, and it's one that's actually good. "Final Fantasy" was known on the chinese market (I believe the first one they got in their language was FF7) as "Outer-Space Warrior". The chinese characters on the title screen say the same, with the addition of "Magic Knight" right below them, and the game uses some graphics from Final Fantasy games. While you can tell what has been ripped like some boxes/chests and the like, it still looks nice and the story is original. More info to come, but note, Barver(Braver?) Battle Saga is just another subtitle, probably. it's not the actual name.

But, my Japanese is weak enough to make me understand all these Kanji! Is there anybody out there willing to translate the game? |
