PREMISE:          A bootleg attempt at combining two popular fighting games
                  into one.  This has recently been confirmed as a Hong
                  Kong bootleg, and not the beta cart that Western sources
                  have assumed for so long.

IMPRESSIONS:      Everything about this bootleg is about what you would
                  expect in such - pixelated graphics, jerky animation,
                  scratchy sound, and irregular gameplay.  The idea of
                  combining two popular fighting games isn't bad in itself,
                  but the beta is still a far cry from a finished product.

VARIATIONS:       Also known as Virtua Fighter vs. Tekken 2, which is the
                  way that they should be written.

I found this kinda fun, in a sadistic kinda way. Sort of the same type of feeling when you keep wiggling your baby teeth out when you're a kid. Painful, but so much fun!

agreed! tons of fun, both are supurb games in their own right but toghether its like two sibblings fighting over the remote!! it goes nowhere!

Interesting concept, taking two 3d fighters and making them 2d. My question is, why are there Fighting Vipers characters in there when only Virtua Fighter is mentioned in the title?

This one looks great but when I got my hands on it I found it to be slow, choppy and unplayable - your man may as well be tied up at times because sometimes when you get attacked he does not respond and gets hammered.

I Was On Holiday In Japan I Saw a Man selling games. Me and him kept talking them he got out a box with this game with case and instructs inside. he said like this would be 1000 yen or something it was years ago.
i spent $650 dollars to buy this one. what do i think, well i was amazed that a thing like this exsisted but really i wasn't up to scratch, money well spent? no
