PREMISE:          Port of the second of the two popular Amiga games, which
                  are best describe as the Bitmap Brother's digital homage
                  to the classic sci-fi feature film Rollerball.  Speedball
                  is a fast-pased and often violent form of human polo
                  invented in the future by the megacorporations to placate
                  the restless masses.

IMPRESSIONS:      The only thing missing from the Amiga original are the
                  awesome background music tracks.  Great graphics, great
                  gameplay, adequate sound.

VARIATIONS:       The original, Speedball, is apparently not available for
                  the platform.

This game is one of the few carts worth getting a Genesis for alone. The graphics are silky smooth and the gameplay is incredible. Its the ultimate sporting game for folks who don't like sporting games.

Pity about the sound but thats the Genesis for you.

You will not regret owning this cart.

This game is ace, I bought my copy at Asdas at kingstown, Carlisle for a tenner in 1992 when unknowingly the gremlins at Sony were planning the systems demise. The Bitmap Brothers games were always that bit special and it is well worth getting games on the strength of their name alone. Throwing that ball down the side runners is essential play if the league fixtures go against you on this one!

If there was one game worth playing on the megadrive/genesis I'd say it was Speedball 2!!
