This is the familiar arcade classic, updated to challenge today's players. The enemies get tougher and tougher with each new stage, and you must complete 18 stages worth of nonstop attacks to be victorious. Normally, you get 5 shields. Codes 1 thru 9 allow you to change that number. Codes 27 thru 30 offer weapon enhancements over the normal values for the super crusher (normal 15 seconds), the hyper laser (use twice), the buster laser (200 energy) and the homing bombs (use 20 times).

#	Type	Description
1	Level Select	During the title screen, press and hold A and C, then press Start. As the title screen fades, there should be a short pause before the first level appears. During this pause, press B, A, C. A level select should appear.

PREMISE:          Updated versions of the original classic arcade shooter
                  with a few new tricks up its sleeve.  The premise is the
                  same, though - you are presented with a screenful of
                  aliens, and you must blow them ALL away before they get
                  all the way to the bottom and destroy you.

IMPRESSIONS:      While it won't trump the simple purity of the original,
                  it's well worth the look.  Ba-dum, ba-dum, ba-dum....
