#CodeDescription
Hand-to-hand combat to save the Earth from alien conquest is the focus of this futuristic side-scrolling fighting game. If it's you against the computer, try NOVA Codes 1 and 2 to give yourself infinite energy and power (power can still go down when you shoot a missile, but it will go back up), and Code 8 to start the computer at a low energy level. If you're a hotshot, speed up the clock with Code 14, and if that's not enough, try winning the game with Code 17 and only one restart!

A poor atttempt at a game. I remember you can beat just about everyone by just jumping in a corner and punching. Another one to use as a doorstop. not fun at all.

First let me just say that this games music was outstanding. The music it plays while fighting the final boss kicks ass!

This game has got groove. It's hard to explain. If you never played it as a kid you will probably just move past this one. But for me, I rented this game back when you would rent any game and play it all night, Even if you didn't like it. I did just that, Played it all night, and beat it :)

In any case, there is some weird connection between this game and Cyborg Justice. However this game was way 'Cooler' and less 'Silly'.

I've had this game since 1996 or so, if I remember correctly. Quite enjoyable, if you give it a decent chance. The music is awesome.

If you like robot fighting games, however, I would heartily recommend Micronet's followup to Heavy Nova, Black Hole Assault, found on the SegaCD/MegaCD. It has barely a storyline, but the graphics, and especially the music, are awesome. I've recorded the soundtrack on CD - it's just that damned good.

This game is definitely a love/hate type of game. I played way back when the Ganny was in its heyday. The unofficial \"sequel\" could be considered \"Black Hole Assault\" for the MegaCD/SegaCD, which was also made by Micronet.

Both have amazing soundtracks (esp. the MegaCD of Heavy Nova), and are worth having at their rock-bottom prices, even if the gameplay is lacking in your opinion.

I enjoy both the CD and cartridge versions immensely.
