TYPE: Racing (various)
LANGUAGE: English

PREMISE: You get to drive around in those little vehicles that
Galoob sells by the ton on some very strange tracks -

Micro Machines is a great series made by codemasters. In it, you race against 3 other drivers on various courses around the house. It's a lot of fun, and even though you don't get powerups, you do get a whole bunch of vehicles to race with. I recommend you pick up at least one of these gems! I give em a 9.5

Micro Machines is a lovely little game. The original is better then the sequels due to its simplicity.

Fantastic party game, race micro machines around giant, real-world 'tracks'.

The sequels came on Codemasters brilliant "J-Cart" allowing another 2 joypads to be connected!!
Even the Game Gear versions featured 4 PLAYER racing!!
This is it folks, gameplay, pure, simple & straight.

Oh And I also meant to say that I actually prefere the Genesis version to the Playstation/N64 because the tracks are a lot better designed for repeat playing.

They're still so much fun! And the construction Kit in MM96 was brilliant as well. If anyone remembers the British gaming show Bad Influence, then watch for presenter Violet Berlin in MM2!

Perhaps the most addictive games ever! I can't possibly fathom the number of hours I've whittled away on these ones, especially 2 Turbo Tournament, which I think had the best combination of great graphics and gameplay variety. The J-Cart from 2 onwards was absolute genius - the quintessential party game. :)
