#CodeDescription
This is a challenging video pinball game where you have to destroy monsters and creatures to try to advance to the mystery stage. The hidden passages to the bonus stages are fun, but it's tough to get the points you need to reach the mystery stage (NOT!--Code 26 lets you start with a bonus multiplier of 9 instead of one). With Codes 13 thru 26, the bonus multiplier will reset to 1 and bonus points will reset to 100 after the first bonus (except if you also use Codes 27 and 28). Note that Codes 1 thru 26 may be affected by use of passwords. And remember that in a 2-player game the players share the bonus; if it is not collected by one player, the current bonus values are available for the other player to collect.

Excerpt from Genesis Game Guide by The Scribe

NAME: Dragon Pinball series (2 titles)
AUTHOR/VENDOR: Naxat Soft/Tecnosoft/Tengen
RELEASED: 1992
TYPE: Pinball
LANGUAGE: English and Japanese (set console accordingly)

PREMISE: A series of wonderful pinball sims with a dark fantasy
theme. These appear to have been inspired by Hudson's
Crush series (Alien Crush for TG16, Jaki Crush for SNES)

IMPRESSIONS: Excellent! Fantasy fans, you need the first one for
those nights when you've had one too many Phantasy Star
sessions. You also need the second one for the day
when you think you can beat the first one blindfolded -
you'll be surprised just how fast you are humbled. An
absolute must for any pinball fan.

VARIATIONS: Dragon's Fury (1992, originally released in Japan under
                    the name Devil Crash MD)
                  Dragon's Revenge (1994)

I got Dragon's Fury after hearing people on Usenet going off about how cool Devil Crash and the TG-16 versions were. And they were right! The music added to the atmosphere nicely.

This is a fab little pinball game with a gothic/horror theme.
Great table design, the graphics on the bonus stages are fab. Lots of little touches like monsters emerging from caves that you can whack with your ball for points and the slow transformation of the dragon women in the centre of the table.
The ball physics appear spot-on, youll rarely be frustated by an awkward looking bounce or richochet.
Its a tough game, there are objectives as well as the chase for points. There's also a password system.
Well worth picking up.

Dragon's Fury is still my favourite pinball game for the megadrive. Especially the woman in the funny helmet who turns into the dragon!

this is the only game in which the sega logo isn't presented at the beginning. the game realy is great, though. the bonus levels get tough after a while, too. i have not played the first, but i have the sequel.
