Excerpt from Genesis Game Guide by The Scribe

NAME: Galahad
AUTHOR/VENDOR: Psygnosis/Electronic Arts
RELEASED: 1992
TYPE: Platform
LANGUAGE: English

PREMISE: Arcade platformer inspired by the adventures of Sir
Galahad, one of King Arthur's knights of the Round Table.

IMPRESSIONS: Solid control and good special effects for the era, but
the levels are difficult to navigate. The color palette
is drab, and the artwork is hideous. (Rage Games)

VARIATIONS: Also known as Galahad, Young Galahad, and The Legend of
Galahad. Originally released on the Amiga under the
title of Leander, and advertised as such in several EA
press releases from early in that year.

This is an average platform game helped along by using elements of RPG. Nevertheless an enjoyable play all the same. Know as "The Legend of Galahad" in the UK

I can't stop playing this game. It is DEFINITLEY one of my favourite platformers ever, and probably the best game EA ever released.

As I forgot to mention, the music also sounds like (to my ears) some obscure b-side by Siouxsie and the Banshees or possibly the Sisters of Mercy!

Grr...my goth tendencies are showing through again...

Methinks this game was originally supposed to be about some Asian hero or something due to the title screen and Asian looking armor of the enemies in the first stage.

It's a port of the Amiga game Leander.

Starts of nice, but gets boring after a while, always the same outdoor/indoor levels.
