NAME:             Lethal Enforcers series (2 titles)

PREMISE:          First-person arcade shooters ported to the G/MD that were
                  intended for play using a light gun.  It included its
                  own - the Justifier.

IMPRESSIONS:      Ugh!  Decent enough, but the ugly digitzed sprites leave
                  a foul taste in your mouth.  Also, they're no fun playing
                  with a joystick.

VARIATIONS:       I have seen postings on various Japanese web sites for
                  the first title under the name Risaru.  This is not an
                  alternate title; it is the way that the average Japanese
                  would pronounce the English word "lethal."  Substitute
                  the letter "L" for "R" in this romanji word, and you'll
                  see what I mean.

                  Lethal Enforcers (1993, you are a police officer who
                    gets to blast away at the bad guys in various places)
                  Lethal Enforcers 2 - Gun Fighters (1994, same idea but
                    employs a Wild West theme)
                  Lethal Enforcers 2 Elite trainer hack (unlimited lives)

The second version of this game fix all the problem inside version one.
with a variety of weapons to get, and the "victims" would not resist you to go to the next round(but sure, if you haven't any energy left for penality, you would lost).

The second version also give enemy extra life, sometime, you need to hit the enemy 2 times in order to kill them.

The sounds and graphics also have great improvement, smooth graphics, and the position of enemy is good as trap.

what can I say... The best gun Shooting game in genesis! The sequel of this game, show the famous of this game. (as the type of shooting game is rare in genesis)

The graphics on this first version is not very well,
while the game play and sound had push up the overall grade.

You can use some types of weapons though out the game, but somehow, you could only use the 6-bullet gun to kill the boss with N hits.

This type of game is very good for people who would like to train their focus-level and reflection, this game is not an exception. however, this game have a great drawbacks with that, if you lost your reflection and kill a "victim", you need to restart that round..., that's too hard to complete a round without emulator:-)

In general, as a rare type of game in genesis, but not just with average score, I recommend this game to you, (The 2nd version is much better, you may try the 2nd version instead, as there are, accutally no relation on story of the two game)

The sega cd versions were much better. If you like shooters, try those, because these are very dumbed down in gameplay. Also, never play with a gamepad, it's just not fun.

Great game in which your a cop, and you must take down the most wanted crimanls around.. but its not asy.. armed only with you revolver (lightgun) you must shoot your way to winning!

the HANDS DOWN toughest part of either of the two enforcer games was FINDING A WORKING PINK JUSTIFIER!!!

I love this game...mainly because you have to be all manly and butch with a PINK PLASTIC GUN!!! Konami were surely taking the piss....

This game makes you feel like you are in a Clint Eastwood movie, but only you replace Eastwood. I got the Justifier gun. It's more fun when you play with the Justifier.
