Cheats For Hardball
#TypeDescription
1Special PitchIf you switch pitchers during the game, substitute the pitcher with a player that is not a pitcher. The new player will have a special pitch called "FAT." It's a rather worthless pitch, but it is something to see.

Excerpt from Genesis Game Guide by The Scribe

NAME: Hardball series (4 titles)
AUTHOR/VENDOR: Accolade/Ballistix
RELEASED: various
TYPE: Sports (baseball)
LANGUAGE: English

PREMISE: The one and only - the first baseball sim grudgingly
acknowledged by both sports fans and gamers alike as
worth the trouble of learning. One of the first baseball
games to offer first-person on-the-diamond views, which
only added to its popularity. Hardball set the standard
by which all subsequent baseball games were measured.

IMPRESSIONS: Still surprisingly enjoyable after all these years,
although time and technology have passed them by.

VARIATIONS: Hardball (1991)
Hardball 2 does not appear to have been released for the
                    G/MD
                  Hardball 3 (1993)
Hardball 94 (1994, noticeably improved graphics)
Hardball 95 (1995, little different from its predecessor
                    except for the team stats)
