PREMISE:          Based on the 1991 manga/anime about a typical Japanese
                  elementary-grade schoolgirl named Sakura, her friends,
                  the adults with whom she interacts, and her life in
                  general.  The series titles comes from Sakura's nickname,
                  Chibi Maruko, which means "little round-faced child."
                  A board game reminescent of Life in which you can play as
                  Sakura or one of her schoolkid friends, as you go around
                  town doing the shopping thing.

IMPRESSIONS:      I wouldn't mind if this game were never translated.

VARIATIONS:       The name roughly translates as "Our little round-faced
                  friend Maruko goes on an exciting shopping trip!"
