An R-Type clone? AN R-TYPE CLONE?!?! Did this guy even bother to play the game? Atomic Robo Kid is nothing like R-Type. Not even remotely. To begin with, the screen doesn't scroll unless you move--up, down, left, or right, you explore tunnels and fight baddies. Secondly, the gameplay shares no similarities with R-Type, or any other side-scrolling shooter of its ilk.

Atomic Robo Kid does boast huge bosses and a good selection of unique weapons that add strategic elements to fighting, but I found the game lacking somehow. It is very difficult, and its fun factor just doesn't seem high enough to justify the difficulty. Hard-core gamers may like it, though.

I agree with Gibb once again, what he said was just about right. Cease the stupid scribe man! he knows crap. anyway, i like ARK. its a port of the amiga/arcade/pc engine game. this one may not be the best port, but its still enjoyable.
