#CodeDescription
Lots of codes to help Albatross and Leila stop Gimdo and his Geldra terrorist gang from destroying vital communications satellites. Codes 1 thru 13 are especially useful, since they vary the number of hit points from the normal value of 2 (the blue box display looks funny until you have 4 or less hit points left). Codes 14 to 27 let you change the starting number of pistol shots from the normal 40. Codes 28 thru 44 let you change the starting number of machine gun shots from the normal 0, and Codes 45 thru 61 let you increase the starting number of flame thrower shots from the normal 0, and can make the shots look funny. When using Codes 62 and 63, special weapon shots can look funny and may have different degrees of effectiveness, depending on the round.

Excerpt from Genesis Game Guide by The Scribe

NAME: Rolling Thunder series (2 titles)
AUTHOR/VENDOR: Namco
RELEASED: 1992 (both titles)
TYPE: Action
LANGUAGE: English

PREMISE: A series of games seemingly inspired by the James Bond
films. Take your pick of either secret agent Albatross
or his sexy sidekick Leila and fight your way through
countless foes, solving the occasional puzzle along the
                  way.

IMPRESSIONS: These games are better than they have any right to be.
The graphics and sound aren't all that great, but the
gameplay is - in fact, it can get rather intense and
sometimes frustrating in the later levels.

VARIATIONS: The first in the series, Rolling Thunder, is apparently
                  not available for the platform.

(Side comment: Damin3, you do realize that you can write all of your comments on one big paragraph and it will have the same effect [ or maybe BETTER! ] as writing 3 trillion sentence fragments. Just lookin' out for ya, good fella!)

I really miss the 2 player action that was in Rolling Thunder 2 but this game is just as excellent. It's cool, also, because it seems that after Shinobi 3 everybody wanted to do a water jet or side scrolling driving part--which is fine with me, I LOVE PLAGERY! (j/k)

And to add, Bad Moon is a cool song. But what the hell is up with the translator for this game? Why did everything have to be Bad? Even songs that sounded pleasant or soothing were Bad!

See, that's what happens when somebody likes a certain word too much. . .

I give it 8.
