PREMISE:          Awesome Possum, savior of the ecosystem, does battle
                  with the environment-destroying automatons created by
                  the evil Dr. Machino.

IMPRESSIONS:      A politically correct platform game.  The graphics and
                  gameplay are merely passable, and the frequent use of
                  annoying sound samples adds nothing to the experience -
                  not to mention all that environmental crap.  I say we fry
                  the little marsupial and serve him to Dr. Machino with a
                  salad on the side.

VARIATIONS:       The full title of this game, according to the game's
                  chorus, is "Awesome Possum Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt."
                  How pathetic.

I'm sorry, but kids will never buy into recycling unless taught why it's important. Horrible platform games like this just make me want to throw trash at crying indians. (Americans understand that pun)

Another horrible platformer. If I see another one of these child-geared rubbish piles, I'm going to request a padded room and a crate full of straight jackets. "Awesome Possum" is full of so many cliches that it isn't even satirical. The gameplay---and basic premise---is what kills this one.

I have the Japanese version of this game and though I wanted to persevere with it I found the speech quite clear but so repetetive that it warranted its quality useless as it was so annoying. The game is just a choppy Sonic clone with poor animation and little replay value.
