#CodeDescription
This is an entertaining action/comedy game where you help Mike and Spike Bonanza steal everything they can get their hands on, while trying to avoid the security robots. When using ZABRO Codes 10 thru 13, the clock will reset to 3 minutes if time runs out, or if a player re-enters the game after letting the continue countdown timer run out. For Codes 17 thru 20, player lives will reset to the number on the options screen if you re-enter a game after you've let the countdown timer run out. For Codes 23 thru 24, the credit must be used before the countdown timer runs out.

Excerpt from Genesis Game Guide by The Scribe

NAME: Bonanza Brothers
AUTHOR/VENDOR: Sega
RELEASED: 1991
TYPE: Platform
LANGUAGE: English and Japanese (set console accordingly)

PREMISE: The Bonanza Brothers have been assigned the task of
gathering evidence needed to stop the corruption in
Badville. To do so, they must avoid all kinds of
platform-style hazards. On the other hand, I am told
that the Japanese version of the plot cast them as small-
time crooks out to make the big score. Hmmm.... Ported
                  from the arcade original.

IMPRESSIONS: Has a rather distinctive graphics style found in only a
few other games, such as the Puzzle and Action series.
Slow paced, but fairly challenging at times.

In the US version they're actually testing a security system for some rich guy. The game is fun with it's super deformed characters and that one sound effect that sounds like a profane word ;)

The game is challenging at first, although after time you get used to each level and how to beat each cop. But if you've never played it, give it a run through. It's not a first-person shooter, but you can still take out some rage with that stun gun of yours.

Good game in which you have to steal a sort of things (to help police) as evidence for some crimes under Badville. Very funny, but sometimes boring playing alone. Regular graphics, regular sound, and good gameplay.

The instruction book says that if they test his security system hell make Fort Knox look like "pocket change". Reminds me of keystone kapers. 8.5

Great cartoony graphics and the story is a hoot as if that is what the programmers were thinking about when they made it. The game is very easy to beat but is fun and it will make you want to play it again.
