5. HANDLE MECHA

Be sure to turn power off before performing work. This unit is a heavy item, and therefore be very careful when performing the work. Immediately after game play, the motor may still be very hot. When performing removal work, wait until the motor cools off.

In the test mode, if the steering wheel's VR variations arenot within the allowable range, the VR installation position adjustmentsor VR replacement is needed. Also, be sure to apply grease tothe VR gear portion once every 3 months.

 

REMOVING THE CONTROL PANEL

Turn the power switch off.

Remove a total of 4 tamperproof screws from both sides of thecontrol panel's front.

Remove the two tamperproof screws from the underside of thecontrol panel.

Wiring connectors are connected inside the control panel. Carefullydraw the control panel in a manner so as not to damage the wiring.

Disconnect the wiring connector.

 

 

5 - 1 REPLACING AND ADJUSTING THE HANDLE'SVR

Never touch places other than those specified. Touching places not specified can cause electric shock and short circuit.

 

After the replacement or adjustment of the VR, be sure to set the variable value of the VR in the test mode's Volume Setting.

 

REPLACING THE VOLUME

1. Turn the power off.

2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Take out the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket andremove the Volume Bracket.

4. Remove the Volume Gear and Volume Bracket so replace theVol ume.

5. After replacing the Volume, perform Volume setting in theVolume setting mode.
