16 - 2 ADJUSTING MITSUBISHI PROJECTOR WITHREMOTE CONTROL
Although the following undesignated keys will not function even if pressed, do not press them to avoid causing malfunctioning. Operate the Remote Control by directing it toward the screen. The Remote Control will not be activated when operated by directing it otherwise.
ADJUSTMENT IN BRIGHTNESS, HORIZONTAL/VERTICAL POSITIONS
1. Press the Remote Control's PICTURE KEY to proceed to theAdjustment Mode from the normal status. Every time the PICTUREKEY is pressed, the Adjustment Mode proceeds as shown below.
2. In the Adjustment Mode other than the AUTO CONVERGENCE Mode,the Adjustment data can be changed by operating the - and + Keys.
In each Adjustment Mode, if no effective key input is performedwithin 6 seconds, the Adjustment Mode is automatically exited,with the normal status returning on the screen. Note that whenM-WIDTH or V-WIDTH is changed, color deviation may occur.
AUTO CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Press the PICTURE KEY to display the AUTO CONVERGENCE AdjustmentMode on the screen (FIG. 13. 2 a).
2. Press ENTER KEY to display "START EXIT."
3. Press the - KEY to cause "START" to become red.
4. Press the ENTER KEY to have AUTO CONVERGENCE Adjustmentstart. The adjustment takes up to 3 minutes at the maximum, andthe normal status returns when the adjustment is finished.
If the AUTO CONVERGENCE is not operated satisfactorily dueto illumination and malfunctioning, the problem message is displayedon the screen.
STATIC CONVERGENCE ADJUSTMENT
1. Press the TEST KEY to have the red line adjustment screen appear.
2. Superimpose the red cross on the green cross at the centerof the screen. Move the red cross to the left, right, up and downrespectively. When the red cross is superimposed on the greencross, the green cross turns into yellow or white.
3. Press the R/B Key to have the blue line adjustment screenappear. Each time R/B Key is pressed, the red line and blue linewill be alternated.
4. In the manner similar to 2. above, press each key to superimposethe blue cross on the green cross. When it is superimposed, thecross in the center will become white.
5. Press the TEST Key to exit from the adjustment mode.
During STATIC CONVERGENCE Adjustment Mode, if no action istaken within 5 minutes, the Adjustment Mode will be exited automatically.
