14. MAINTENANCE OF MECHANISM UNIT


In order to prevent an electric shock and short circuit, be sure to turn power off before performing work bv touching the interior parts of the product.

 

Be careful so as not to damage wirings. Damaged wiring cancause an electric shock or short circuit accident.

Do not touch places other than those specified. Touching placesnot specified can cause an electric shock or short circuit accident.



When in the Test Mode, the cockpit will be released from the secured status. Since the cockpit sways due to its empty weight, be very careful to avoid injury.

 

14-1 ADJUSTING AND REPLACING THE VOLUME

Check Volume value in the Test Mode. Since work is performedinside the energized cabinet, be very careful so as not to touchundesignated portions. Touching places not specified can causeelectric shock and short circuit.

1. Have the Volume value displayed on the screen in the TestMode.

2. Take out the 3 screws and remove the Floor Center (FIG.11. 1 )

3. Loosen the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket to movethe Volume Bracket. (Photo 11.1)

4. Move the Volume Bracket to disengage gear mesh.

5. Secure the cockpit in the level position to adjusr gearmesh. At this time, ensure that the Volume value display is withinthe range of 78H - 82H.

6. Loosen the 2 screws which secure the Bracket.

7. Perform Volume setting in the Volume setting mode.

 

REPLACING THE VOLUME

1. Turn the power off.

2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Take out the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket, andremove the Volume Bracket.

4. Remove the Volume Gear and Volume Bracket to replace theVolume.

5. After replacing the Volume, perform Volume setting in theVolume Setting Mode.
