18-3 SETTING FOR COMMUNICATION PLAY

 


During communication play, when communication is interrupted due to a certain cause, the game will be discontinued and Trouble Display will be shown on the screen.

 

For interactive play, the settings of GAME ASSIGNMENTS need to be changed. First, determine one machine as "MASTER." and set the "NETWORK TYPE" to "MASTER." Set other machines to "SLAVE." Then, set "CABINET ID" to 1, 2, 3, 4 sequentially in order starting from the leftmost machine facing the screen. Do not exit from the Test mode until settings for all of the machines are finished. If even one machine exits from the Test mode, all other machines will also exit from the Test mode and communication play setting can not be performed correctly.

After settings for all machines are finished, exit from the Test mode. If even one machine exits from the Test mode, all other machines also exit from the Test mode.

At this time, ADVERTISE SOUND and all other game settings for SLAVE machines are compulsorily unified to those for the MASTER machine.

 

18-4 CAUTIONS TO BE HEEDED WHEN USING THE TEST MODE

 

In the status allowing for communication play, if even one machine enters the Test mode, all others also enter the Test mode. Therefore, be very careful so as not to enter the Test mode while a machine(s) is in play. When the Test mode is exited, the Foot Controller starts centering automatically. When exiting from the Test mode, if someone is on the Foot Controller or the CAUTION MAT, this can cause an accident. To exit from the Test mode, be sure to check the peripheral status of the machine(s) to ensure safety.
