HOW TO PLAY

Herein, explanations are given for using the machine independently. In case of interactive Communication play, how to start, etc. differ from the following descriptions (Note I).

1) Put your feet on the Foot Controller.

2) Facing the projector screen, the Coin Chute Tower is on the right-hand side. Insert one play worth of coins to have the Select screen appear. In the Select mode, credits are not displayed.

3) In the SELECT mode, choose the Game mode (race) in which you play. In this mode, the blue and green Select buttons blink. Pressing the blue Select button chooses the World series and pressing the green Select button chooses Time Attack.
·World series: This is the mode in which the place is determined by the total points of the entire 3 courses.
·Time Attack: This is the mode in which the player's skill is determined after skiing on 2 courses selected out of the 3 courses.

4) When the Game mode is determined, the Course Select mode appears. The Blue, Red and Green Select buttons blink. Pressing the Blue, Red, and Green Select buttons selects Technical Course, Standard Course and High Speed Course respectively.

·Technical [Night Valley]: The Technical Course modelled after the traditionally renowned skiing area in Europe.
·Standard [White Forest]: The standard Course modelled after a skiing area in Japan.
·High Speed [Wild King]: The High Speed Course modelled after a dynamic type of skiing area in North America.

5) In the Select mode and the course Select mode, the remaining time for selection is displayed on the upper right-hand portion of the screen. Failing to press the Select button within the time limit causes the Standard Course in the World Series to be automatically selected.

6) After the course is determined, the game starts. The Foot Controller lock is unlocked and the Foot Controller can be operated right and left. Turn right and left by operating the Foot Controller right and left in the same manner as in the actual skiing. Try inclining the Foot Controller inside. It helps to turn sharply.

7) During game play, the following screen appears.

1. Remaining Time (if 0 is indicated, the game is over.) Note 2
Display of time to be added (when passing each gate, time to be added blinks, being displayed under the Time Limit)

2. Current Place/Race participants
The number of race participants varies depending on the Game mode, number of machines linked for communication play, etc.

3. Speed

4. FASTEST 0'57"78 That particular course's fastest time
GATE 04 0'09"88 Next gate and time elapsed up to the present
GATE 03 0'07"41 Time when passing each gate (if you fail to pass, "FAILURE" will be indicated).
GATE 02 0'05"25 Time when passing each gate (if you fail to pass, "FAILURE" will be indicated).
GATE 01 0'02"44 Time when passing each gate (if you fail to pass, "FAILURE" will be indicated).

5. In the case of the World series, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 are displayed.
In the case of Time Attack, 1st Round, 2nd Round are displayed.

6. This is displayed when the Sensor responds to the status in which your foot is out of the Foot Controller during game play. Normally, this is not displayed. The display disappears when the foot is put on the Foot Controller. While the display is indicated, the Foot Controller's reaction at the time of crash is not obtained.

O A gate is provided in between the courses.
Passing the gate within the time limit allows the remaining time to be extended and game play to continue.

O In the World Series, finishing Round l within the time limit will let you proceed to Round 2. If you finish Round 2 within the time limit, you proceed to Round 3. (3 Rounds in total)

O In the Time Attack mode, clearing the 1st Round within the time limit allows you to proceed to the 2nd Round. (2 Rounds in total)

O The Foot Controller reacts to the course out or crash. Depending on the course status, Foot Controller operation is subject to resistance. Note 3

O The perspective can be changed during game play by pressing the ZOOM IN and ZOOM OUT buttons.

8) When the remaining time becomes O in the middle of a course, or when the final round is cleared in each mode, the game is over. The player(s) whose by-course finish time is excelle in the Time Attack mode, and the player(s) whose 3-course finish time is excellent in the Wc Series can enter his name as a record holder.

9) When the game is finished, the Foot Controller will be locked after centering.

10) After one game is finished, if one play worth of credits or more credits are remaining, the SELECT mode appears on the screen.

Note 1: For the communication play, the Word Series mode is used. Since this mode is different from the single player mode, the SELECT mode is not displayed on the screen. The World Series mode starts with course select. The course select is determined by the majority. In case of tie, the selection by the player who pressed the Select button first takes precedence.
Note 2: Setting change can be made during the test mode. Depending on the customer's playing status, adjust the time to be added initially.
Note 3: During the test mode, the force subjected by the Foot Controller can be changed in the test mode depending on the customer's playing status.
