In the test mode, if the ACCEL. & BRAKE V.R. value is notwithin the allowable range, an adjustment of V.R. installationposition, or a replacement of V.R. is needed. Also, grease theMECHA's shafts and sliding portions once every 3 months.
To perform the above work, take off the 2 screws and remove BACKLID B from the back of the cockpit.
The ACCEL. & BRAKE MECHA can be seen by removing the frontlid. The ACCEL. V.R. is on the left- hand side and the BRAKE F.R.is on the right-hand side of the MECHA. Check the V.R. value inthe test mode. The appropriate value of each V.R. is as follows:

To replace the V.R., after taking off the connector from theV.R. to be replaced, take out the 2 screws which secure the VRBRACKET, and remove the V.R. together with the bracket and gear.After the replacement, check the V.R. value variations in thetest mode.
