The only one I've never play in the NHL format is NHL Hockey (the first release of 91) but I own the rom of EA Hockey who is the same thing with national teams. I also have NHL Hockey (the second release of 92) in the cartridge version. |

While there's more features in 96 and onward, I didn't like how they changed the graphics. The font is hard to read, and everything looks fuzzy. The game runs too fast on "normal". Just feels odd. That saidm it's still fun.
The "true Sega classic" ones, 92,93,94 (which probably had the biggest budgets) just look and feel and play better. The Sega CD version of 94 is even better because of all the bonus junk they threw in. |
