It has an ideal that they would regain the world that has human race as
its center by controlling the world dominated by severe nature and Engineered
Creatures. It built "Capital" inside the vast ruins of Ancient
Age located along the west coast, and from there it advances conquest of
the Continent through satellite cities in various locations.
@Although it once disappeared as a result of vortex of war called "Great
Fall" that occurred several dozen years ago, with rebuilding of Imperial
Army by Imperial Academy that had been storing numerous knowledge and with
accession of Eighth Emperor, it made a comeback. Empire carries out the
severe government system and social rank/class system that hold Emperor
as its summit, and people's residence districts and occupations are strictly
separated according to their class. |

# Capital and Imperial Academy
@In the power center of Capital, besides the residential castle of Emperor,
central military base of Imperial Army, there exist Excavation Research
Facilities of Imperial Academy.
Imperial Academy was originally an academic research institute, which
has been studying, for example, technologies of Ancient Age directly under
successive Emperors, but also has the essential real power of Imperial
Army and Imperial Government under its control. Its upper strata are occupied
by only a fraction of elites and contents of their research are kept strictly
secret even within Imperial Army.
# Anti-engineered-creature arms
@Imperial Academy has been placing the top priority on development of
military equipment specialized in nullifying offensive and defensive power
of engineered creatures and in giving fatal damages to them.
@As a result, some arms have been put in actual use such as "Anti-Optics
Processing" that nullifies various optical attacks, or "Anti-engineered-creature
Shell" that causes damage directly to cells of engineered creatures.
Other than these, it is said that many armaments are passionately being
developed.
@Its ultimate form is an Engineered Creature that can be manipulated by
the hands of human... Dragonmare.
# Imperial Army and Ancient Engine
@Imperial Army that has powerful aerial mechanized fleets as their main
force, has been realized with establishment of the means of exploiting
Flotage Engine of Ancient Age.
@In this world that has no sufficient flight movement technology, its
power is overwhelming, and Empire came to have control over the command
of the more-than-half-of-Continent air, only after a few years since its
reorganization.
@The rock-like huge mass attached to the hull of Imperial Warships is
Flotage Engine of Ancient Age. Ancient Engine that was excavated from
the ruins is, with research, utilized as the source of power for various
arms and machines. However, its operation principle still remains as a
mystery.@Imperial mechanics, for example, battle ships, has outstanding
grotesque forms that are created by forcedly combining original Imperial
parts of metals, woods and parts of Ancient Age.
