COMMUNICATION PLAY
The Wave Runner allows up to 4 seats to enjoy communication play. For communication play, communication cable connection and game assignments are needed.
When linking a number of machines, be sure to supply sufficient power for the corresponding number of machines. The per unit standard voltage/amperage is 100~120V/10A and 200~240v/5A.
Remove the plate from the side of the PTV base where the connection cable passes.
Align the machines to be linked in a position no more than 60 to 100 cm apart.
Open the service door on the front cabinet and connect the communication cable to the filter board of the shield case.
Inserting the FLEX TUBE into the Conector 29 allows for "one touch" assembling.
Insert the connector into the hole platehole and fasten with the accesory lock nut.
Pass the communication cable through the flex tube.
Insert the communication cable from the square hole on the side of the PTV and connect to the shield case filter board. Depending on the number of machines to be linked, connect the communication cable as shown.
Secure the hole plate with the 4 truss screws.
For interactive play, the settings of game assignments need to be changed. First, determine one machine as Master, and set the network type to Master. Set the other machines to Slave. Then, set cabinet IDs for all machines, in sequential order, starting from the left most machine. (1, 2, 3, 4)
Be sure to have all machines exit from the test mode and have the normal mode return. Network check starts, and after a while, the game mode appears on the screen. At this time, the slave machine's settings are compulsorily unified to those of the master unit.
Exiting from the test mode causes the network check to be performed automatically. During this time, all of the linked units will not allow the game to be played in the normal status. Therefore, be sure that none of the games are in play when entering the test mode, and conversely, if any one unit is in the test mode, make sure none of the other games is in play.
