14. COMMUNICATION PLAY

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS

This game can be linked to allow up to 8 players to play simultaneously. When linking a number of machines, be sure to supply sufficientpower for the number of machines. The "per unit" standardamperage is 100~1 20V / I OA and 220-240V / 5A

LINKING LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE CABINETS

1. Locate the Fiber Optic Linking Cable (shipped inside thecashbox).

2. The cable and machine linking connectors are keyed so thatthey can only be connected when the long flat side of the cableconnector is facing up (see Figure I 1).

3. At the center rear of the machine, insert the black endof the linking cable into the TX connector and the red end intothe RX connector (see Figure 12).

4. Loop and tuck the excess Fiber Optic cable between the left-sideand right-side cabinets DO NOT BEND THE FIBER OPTIC CABLE.

Apply seat number stickers to the seats. The seats are numberedsequentially from the left, when facing the monitor.

The fiber optic cable used in communications play is very delicate. It may be easily damaged by excessive bending.

During interactive play, if communication is interrupted due to some cause, the game will be interrupted, and the network check screen will appear on all units.

When performing communication play, the settings of game assignmentsin the test mode need to be changed.

Cause all of the machines linked to enter the test mode.

Set the link type of the machines to Car 1, Car 2, etc, sequentiallyin order starting from the left, when facing the monitor. At thistime, make sure that no numbers are duplicated.

One machine whose link type is Car 1 will be the master unit.Thereafter, all the other machine's settings, except for advertisesound, cabinet type, and link type will be the same as those ofthe master unit.

After changing the settings of all machines connected for communicationplay, make sure that all of the machines exit the test mode.

In the network check, if there is no irregularity, the advertisemode will appear, allowing for communication play.

CAUTIONS TO BE HEEDED WHEN USING THE TEST MODE

Exiting from the test mode causes the units to perform thenetwork check immediately. During this time, all of the linkedunits will not allow the game to be played. Be sure not to entertest mode when any unit is in play.
