12. SHIFT LEVER


In order to prevent an electric shock and short circuit, be sure to turn power off before performing work by touching the interior parts of the product.

Be careful so as not to damage wirings. Damaged wiring cancause an electric shock or short circuit accident.

Do not touch places other than those specified. Touching placesnot specified can cause an electric shock or short circuit accident.

If the Shift Lever operation is not satisfactory, remove theShift Lever in the following procedure and replace the microswitch.


 

12-1 REMOVING THE SHIFT LEVER

1. Turn the power off.

2. Take out the 6 truss screws and remove the Switch Plate.The Switch Plate has wiring connections. To avoid damaging thewiring, carefully lift the Switch Plate and disconnect the insideconnector. (Photo9.1 a) (Photo9.1 b)

3. Remove the 4 Hexagon Bolt for special use which secure theShift Lever. (Photo 9.1 c)

4. Carefully lift the Shift Lever. The Shift Lever also haswirings. Lift it up in the manner so as not to damage wiring anddisconnect the connector. (Photo 9.1 d)
