11. HANDLE MECHA


In order to prevent an electric shock and short circuit, be sure to turn power off before performing work by touching the interior parts of the product.

Be careful so as not to damage wirings. Damaged wiring. cancause an electric shock or short circuit accident.

Do not touch places other than those specified. Touching placesnot specified can cause an electric shock or short circuit accident.



When in the Test Mode, the cockpit will be released from the secured status. Since the cockpit sways due to its empty weight, be very careful to avoid injury.

 

If steering wheel operation is not satisfactory, adjust theVolume installation position (gear mesh) or replace the Volume.Also, apply greasing to the gear mesh portion once every 3 months.

 

11-1 ADJUSTING AND REPLACING THE VOLUME

Check Volume values in the Test Mode (refer to Service Manual).Since work is perf the energized cabinet, be sure not to touchundesignated places. Touching places othe those specified cancause electric shock and short circuit.

1. Have the screen display the Volume values in the Test Mode.

2. Take out the 6 truss screws and remove the Bonnet Cover(FIG. 8.1).

3. Loosen the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket to movethe Volume Bracket. (Photo 8.1 )

4. Move the Volume Bracket to disengage gear mesh.

5. Secure the steering wheel at the centering position to adjustgear mesh. At this time, ensure that the Volume value displayis within the range of 80H + 2.

6. Fasten the 2 screws which secure the Bracket.

7. In the Volume setting mode, perform Volume setting.

 

REPLACING THE VOLUME

1. Turn the power off.

2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Take out the 2 screws which secure the Volume Bracket andremove the Volume Bracket.

4. Remove the Volume Gear and Volume Bracket so replace theVol ume.

5. After replacing the Volume, perform Volume setting in theVolume setting mode.
