9 - 9 DRIVE BOARD TEST
Selecting "DRIVE BOARD TEST" causes the followingto be displayed on the screen. This test allows the operationof motor, clutch, etc. to be checked, and setting of SteeringWheel and Bank Volume to be performed.
Press the Service button to select each item and press theTest button to cause the selected item's movements to be performed.
STOP MOTOR: Stops the load subjected to the Steering Wheeland the mot meets of the Motor for reaction. As such, initiallyselecting this item and pressing the Test button make no differencesuperficially. Select ROLL RIGHT or ROLL LEFT below this item,and in the status that the motor is functioning in a certain direction,select the item and press the Test button to stop the movementsin that particular direction.
ROLL RIGHT: The motor moves so as to turn the Steering Wheelclockwise.
ROLL LEFT: The motor moves so as to turn the Steering Wheelcounterclockwise.
CLUTCH ON: The clutch (Brake Mechanism) operates so as to securethe Cockpit.
CLUTCH OFF: The Cockpit is released from the secured status.
LAMP: Lights up Lamps in the Control Panel. The Lamps in the buttons on the Switch Panel do not light up (see 9-6).
SETTING THE VOLUME
On the screen as per FIG. 2.9, perform setting of the Volumethat detects the Steering Wheel and Bank ( the Cockpit's right/leftswaying) movements. When the Steering Wheel and Bank Volumes areadjusted or replaced, perform the setting of the Volume in thefollowing procedure:
SETTING THE STEERING WHEEL VOLUME
1. Press the Service button to bring the arrow to SET CENTEROF STEER.
2. Secure the Steering Wheel to the Centering position. Atthis time, also secure the Cockpit in the level position.
3. Press the Test bunon. Store the Volume value obtained atthis time as Steering Wheel's centering value.
SETTING THE BANK VOLUME
1. Press the Service bunon to bring the arrow to SET CENTEROF CABINET.
2. Secure the Cockpit in the level position.
3. Press the Test button. Store the Volume valueobtained at this time as the Cockpit's level status value.
