Selecting the memory test on the test mode menu screen causes the on-board memory to be tested automatically. The game board is satisfactory if the display beside each IC number indicates GOOD.
Selecting the input test on the test mode menu screen
causes the screen on which each switch and VR are tested to be
displayed. Press each switch. For the coin switch test, insert
a coin from the coin inlet with the coin chute door open. If the
display beside each switch and indicates "ON," the switch
and wiring connections are satisfactory.
Check the display of each VR value. If the VR is malfunctioning,
refer to the Input Test section in this book.
In the test mode, selecting sound test causes the sound
test screen to be displayed. Be sure to check that the sound is
satisfactorily emitted from each speaker and the sound volume
is appropriate.
